About

Meli believes in your magic.

Meli is a multidisciplinary facilitator, therapist-in-training, and artist dedicated to helping people overcome their inner critic and reconnect with their authentic creativity. Through her workshops, retreats, and events, Meli invites participants to rediscover joy, wonder, and a deeper relationship with themselves and the natural world. Since 2020, she has guided over 400 children and adults in her signature “Scribble & Flow” art workshops, which combine mindfulness, artistic play, and self-expression.

A published children’s book illustrator, Meli also creates spaces for community transformation, drawing inspiration from her experiences in adult rites-of-passage work. Her commitment to inner transformation and soulful connection informs all aspects of her work, from creativity workshops at festivals, schools, private events, and corporate settings to guiding wilderness “soul” quests with Wilderness Torah.

Meli is currently pursuing an MA in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. She also holds a Certificate in Fine Arts from the Marchutz School of Fine Arts. Passionate about supporting young people, she works as a therapist-in-training at Albany High School, where she fosters emotional resilience and self-discovery in teens.

Before pivoting to her current career, Meli spent nearly a decade as a User Experience Researcher at companies like Etsy Inc., using her curiosity and creativity to solve complex problems and design meaningful, human-centered experiences.

Testimonials

  • "Meli guides groups into creative explorations that cultivate a sense of wonder in the everyday world around us, leading us to see with new 'kaleidoscope' eyes. She facilitates in a way that allows participants to feel comfortable enough to expand their comfort zones. She truly believes in the creative capacity of each person and leads with equal parts levity and gravitas. Meli's deep personal connection to nature is abundantly clear in the sense of trust (in herself, in the participants, in the creative process) that she brings to her work."

    Elena Pinsky, Restorative Justice Facilitator

  • "Meli's facilitation consistently invites a deep experience for people to connect to their intuitive, creative, wild-soul as well as offer opportunities to share from the heart. She walks her talk. She is a bridge-builder of trust and a beauty-maker extraordinaire. Her capacity to cultivate out-of-the-ordinary experiences using creativity as a tool shows how deeply devoted to her divine creative self she is -- which is powerfully contagious!"

Caitlin Rose Wild, Facilitator and Wholeness Coach

  • "Meli brought such warmth and creativity to our camping trip with my high school juniors. She has a gift for inspiring both bonding and self-reflection in young people, and she cultivated an atmosphere where students could connect with themselves, each other, and the natural world in meaningful ways. Her facilitation style was calm, inspiring, and deeply attuned to the group’s needs. I am incredibly grateful for the way she supported my students and elevated the experience for all of us."
