The Pack Illustration

The Pack, written by Brad Backer and illustrated by Meli Sobin, is a sweet tale about a dog, Sam, and his humans — his pack. The Pack is engaging and funny, and contains messages about love, acceptance, and appreciating each other’s individuality woven throughout the narrative. It was an honor and a delight to collaborate with Brad, a longtime family friend, on this project. Illustrating a children’s book has always been a dream of mine, and it was incredibly rewarding, challenging, and creatively stimulating to bring the story to life through visual form.
